On August 24, 2007 my life took a path that was not planned. My son Alex was born 15 weeks early. He weighed 1 pound 9 ounces  and was 12 1/2 inches long. Alex spent a total of 108 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas and St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Due to the great care that Alex received it has become my mission to share with the world our story. My goal is to bring positive attention to N.I.C.U.'s and to provide needed support for them and the famlies they take care of.
