Today I received an e-mail from a N.I.C.U. Nurse at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center asking me to design a t-shirt for them. Of course I had to say yes. It brought back memories of my college years when I would design shirts for my fraternity. In college we had a t-shirt for just about everything. That could explain my need to collect event themed t-shirt's and tote bags. The above image is my first design. More designs to come soon.

The image is my son Alex's arm with his daddy's wedding band.

Good News!!!! 01/09/2009

It is offical the Stengel's are a March of Dimes Mission Family Family! Now you may be asking "what is a Mission Family"? The role of a Mission Family is to help with fundraising events, educating the public about prematurity, and serving as an advocate for the March of Dimes within the community.

On April 25Th, 2009 the North West Arkansas Chapter of the March of Dimes will be hosting a March For Babies in Fort Smith, AR. My family will have a team. I think we will call it Team Tiny Miracles or maybe Team Baby Alex. The good thing is I have time to figure that out. I will also be recruiting area business's, churches, group, and individual's to have a team.

More good news! I have gained sponsorship for Project: Pink and Blue. Home Depot of Fort Smith, AR will be donating all of the paint that will be used for the rooms. The great thing about this is we will be using a special odor free paint. Behr Freshaire and the color is called "Ray of Hope"... good name. Carpet Turnquest of Fort Smith, AR will be donating new flooring and their services. I am so thrilled they will be helping me make this project possiable. Not to forget local artist Sharon Gonzalez will be donating some of her own artwork to be placed in one of the rooms.

Within the next few days I will be hitting the streets agian to get more donations. Wish me luck!!!
