According to the March of Dimes each year, more then 525,000 babies (1 in 8) are born too soon, some so small they can fit in the palm of your hand.  

Julia Elizabeth was born November 5, 2002. She weighed 2 pounds 6 ounces and was 17 1/2 inches long. Her mother was in her 27 week and 5 day of her pregnancy. They reside in Massachusetts.

Owen was born Janurary 22, 2005. He weighed 1 pound 12 ounces and was 12 inches long. His mother was in her 24th week of her pregnancy. They reside in Indiana. (Owen is two years old in the above photo).

(Left) Catherine Laura Quinn and (Right) Patricia Helen Marie were born June 16, 2006. Catherine weighed 4 pounds and 14 ounces and was 17 1/2 inches long. Patricia weighed 5 pounds 3 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long. Their mother was in her 33 week and 5 day of her pregnancy. They reside in Massachusetts.   

Natalie was born October 1, 2006. She weighed 5 pound 2 ounces and was 18 1/4 inches long. Her mother was in her 33 week of her pregnancy. They reside in Florida. 

Chloe Hana was born January 12, 2007. She weighed 2 pounds 15 ounces and was 15 inches long. Her mother was in her 29 week and fourth day of her pregnancy. They reside in Oregon. (Chloe Hana is the one with the paci.)

Lucius was born January 19, 2007. He weighed 4 pounds and was 17 1/2 inches long. His mother was in her 32 week of her pregnancy. They reside in Minot AFB, but he was born in New York. 

Audrey was born August 13, 2007. She weighed 3 pounds 11 ounces and was 16 1/2 inches long. Her mother was in her 30 week of her pregnancy. They reside in Florida.

Jacob was born August 23, 2007. He weighed 2 pounds 2 ounce and was 14 inches long. His mother was in her 26 week and 4 days of her pregnancy. They reside in Pennsylvania.

Alex was born August 24th, 2007. He weighed 1 pound 9 ounces and was 12 1/2 inches long. His mother was in her 25 week of her pregnancy. They reside in Arkansas.

Jayden Theodora-Rae was born August 31, 2007. She weighed 3 pounds 2 ounces. Her mother was in her 31 week of her pregnancy, They reside in California.

Abi was born October 28, 2007. She weighed 2 lb 1 oz and was 13 inches long. Her mother was almost in the 26th week of her pregnancy. They reside in Tennessee.

Noah was born November 24, 2007. He weighed 3 pounds 1 ounces and was 16 inches long. His mother was in her 32 week of her pregnancy. They reside in Illinois.

Kylie Ann was born November 25, 2007, She weighed 4 pounds 8 ounces and was 16 inches long. Her mother was in her 33 week of her pregnancy.

Annika was born April 13, 2008. She weighed 3 pounds 1 ounces and was 17 inches long. Her mother was in her 31 week of her pregnancy. They reside in Florida.

Elijah was born May 20, 2008. He weighed 3 pounds 7 ounces and was 15 inches long. His mother was in her 31 week of her pregnancy. They reside in Idaho.

Maxzine Jade was born June 18, 2008. She weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long. Her mother was in her 34 week and fourth day of her pregnancy. They reside in Oregon. (Maxzine Jade is the one without the paci.)  

Jackson was born June 23, 2007. He weighed 1 pound 5 ounces and was 10 1/4 inches long. His mother was in her 23rd week and 3 days of her pregnancy. They reside in Texas.  http://jacksons-journey.blogspot.com
